Saguramo

Saguramo

At the bottom of the Yalno-Zedazeni mountain slopes, 21 kilometers from the capital of Georgia, on the left bank of the Aragvi River is the beautiful village of Saguramo, with the names of two great Georgian writers - Ilia Chavchavadze and David Guramishvili. The first foreigner to be hosted by Ilia in Saguramo was German writer Arthur Laist.

Saguramo itself was the property of The Guramishvilis, formerly called Gorisubani, nearby villages are Kotoraantankari, Tsinamdzgvriantkari, Chilaantkari ... Today tourists are especially attracted by the Georgian wine cellars located in Saguramo. Saguramo is a beautiful place with breathtaking nature and views, the best place to unwind from the city, to explore the Georgian literature heritage museum space and to discover Georgian wine.
