Treatment of acne scars at home

Treatment of acne scars at home

Acne is an inflammatory disease of the sebaceous glands of the skin.

Acne is a condition in which the hair follicles are clogged with fat and dead skin cells.

The biggest mistake a person makes with acne is self-medication! No matter how hard you try at home, you will not be able to maintain proper hygiene rules and, moreover, will contribute to the spread of infection to different parts of the face.

Despite numerous warnings, many patients still prefer bump irrigation (mechanical irritation). Remember, the veins in the facial area do not have valves, therefore the risk of spreading the infection to the brain is quite high.

Acne is not just a cosmetic problem, it can be caused by a certain process in the body. This is why only surface treatments (e.g. creams, etc.) will not give you results.

First you need to determine the cause - sometimes even a dietary adjustment is enough!

One is acne treatment and the other is acne scars.

It should be noted that basically what kind of scar is formed depends on the characteristics of the organism.

Today in the relevant clinics (where the Dermatology Department operates) several methods of post-acne scar removal are introduced and laser treatment of scars is especially effective.

As already mentioned, there are several procedures and the dermatologist will select the appropriate method according to your skin type, scar size.

In addition to laser, chemical peeling, injection, filler and more are provided.

Sometimes acne is so mild that scars do not remain or are so inconspicuous that it does not cause discomfort to the person.

For whitening scars at home people are using: coconut oil, aloe vera gel, baking soda, lemon juice, honey. However, be careful and use caution - no matter which natural remedy, no one can tell you in advance how your skin will react to a particular remedy. Although these methods are popular in the community, scientific research or expert opinions on natural remedies are unknown. Some of these remedies can completely lead to skin irritation and other more serious problems.

Scars are often the result of improper treatment (self-medication). Typically, patients are referred to a dermatologist for an already advanced, aggravated condition.

A friend may suggest a certain method, but I do not recommend experimenting, because if this method is useful in one clinical case, it may be harmful to your skin.

Facial skin care should be entrusted only to a doctor, therefore, take into account the course of treatment selected directly for you.
