Bakuriani is one of the most important ski resorts in Georgia, located on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range, on the bank of the river Bakuriani. The resort is 1700 meters above sea level, 30 km from Borjomi and 205 km from Tbilisi. A significant part of Bakuriani is covered by coniferous forests, so the resort is considered not only a winter resort but also a balneological-health resort.
