Our skin is the face of our organism
Our skin, the famously touted largest organ, is responsible for much of our health and overall well-being, but we often tend to neglect it, even cultivating unhealthy habits that damage it without our realizing.
So here’s a few things that you need to stop ASAP.
- Forgetting to cleanse our faces before bed: After a long day where dirt and dust have the opportunity to cozy into all the nooks and crannies on your face, you must remember to wash it all off, so that you don’t go to sleep allowing all that
- grit to clog your pores!
- Applying face oils before stepping out: Many of us tend to use face oil in place of moisturizer, and consequently step out into the world all oiled up.
- Allowing our skin to dry out: Always make sure your skin is moisturized.
- Applying too much product: Products are great, and make-up can make you feel like a million bucks, but before you start spending that much on cosmetics, ask yourself if this is something that is nourishing to your skin type.
