It is recommended to:
- Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day
- Soak in a cool Epsom salt bath for about 15 to 20 minutes
- Elevate your feet, preferably above your heart
- Get moving!
- Magnesium supplements can be helpful for some people (Almonds, tofu, spinach, dark chocolate, broccoli, avocados)
- Limit salt
- Lose weight if you’re overweight
- Massage your feet
- Increase your intake of potassium-rich foods (sweet potatoes, white beans, bananas, salmon, chicken)
- Drink orange juice, low-fat milk;
- Do not take carbonated and sweet drinks.
