Positive thinking and attitude - medicine that cannot be bought at the pharmacy

Positive thinking, a positive attitude is essential for both physical and mental health.

Unfortunately, no one is safe from life's problems, and positive thinking does not necessarily mean that you are stuck in the sand in this or that less pleasant situation - a positive thought is to meet such unpleasant facts with a very productive and solid mind, try to find a way out, always hopeful.

Scientists do not know exactly why a positive attitude to health has such a beneficial effect, however, according to one version, a positive attitude helps a person more easily cope with stressful situations, thereby protecting the entire body from the negative effects caused by stress.

It's also thought that positive and optimistic people tend to live healthier lifestyles — they get more physical activity, follow a healthier diet, and don't smoke or drink alcohol in excess.

Your thinking is very important, as well as the way you look at the situation. For example, a negative question - I have never done this before, and a positive sentence sounds like this - it is an opportunity to learn something new. There is no chance that this will work - let's agree, this is how negative thinking sounds, and now, to change this proposal for the better - I can try to work it out.

If you tend to have a negative outlook, don't expect to become an optimist overnight. But with practice, eventually your self-talk will contain less self-criticism and more self-acceptance.

You know best what makes you happy, and it is with these tiny details that you are trying to improve your mood.

Yes, changing negative thinking for the better is easy, but it takes time and practice.

I will give you a very simple example and make sure that the only reason for the bad mood is just your thoughts.

For example, you had a great day at work. You completed your tasks ahead of time and were complimented for doing a speedy and thorough job. That evening, you focus only on your plan to do even more tasks and forget about the compliments you received. But at the end of the day in the office, it was your name that sounded like a model employee. Instead of enjoying these pleasant the evening, you sit back and think about the challenges ahead.

The reason for negative thinking, therefore, unpleasant mood may also be that when something bad occurs, you automatically blame yourself. For example, you hear that an evening out with friends is canceled, and you assume that the change in plans is because no one wanted to be around you.

Another reason for the bad mood can also be that you automatically anticipate the worst. The drive-through coffee shop gets your order wrong and you automatically think that the rest of your day will be a disaster.

You see things only as either good or bad. There is no middle ground. You feel that you have to be perfect or you're a total failure.

Relationships with people who are negative about your health are just as harmful as illness.

Negative people may increase your stress level and make you doubt your ability to manage stress in healthy ways. Do not hesitate, more, it is necessary to establish some kind of boundaries with negative people and have minimal contact with them.

Try to create at least a little positive environment around you, have fun, load your mind with positive thoughts.
