Everyone’s body has a slightly different reaction to cold and some people feel cold more often than others.
However, almost all of us have a friend who feels chronically cold even in an environment where the temperature is not necessarily cold.
Women are more likely than men to feel cold all the time.
If you experience constant discomfort from the cold and no one around you (depending on the ambient temperature) complains about the same, your body may indicate the need to see a doctor with this symptom.
Please note that feeling cold is not always a sign of a serious health problem, although timely diagnosis is provided for self-insurance. In addition to the cold, a person has specific symptoms characteristic of various diseases.
Causes of a persistent feeling of cold:
- Anemia
- Hypothyroidism
- Atherosclerosis
- Raynaud's disease
- Diabetes
- Anorexia
- Low body weight
- Poor circulation
- Vitamin B-12 deficiency
- Complication of medications
