What is gluten intolerance?
Gluten intolerance means that a person becomes ill after eating gluten. Gluten is a protein that is found in many foods, so people with this diagnosis must strictly monitor their diet and avoid any foods that contain this protein.
Note that intolerance and food allergy are not the same thing.
No one is immune to gluten intolerance, although it is especially common in women. Some people are born with gluten intolerance, and in some clinical cases it is acquired, that is, it develops during life.
The exact cause of gluten intolerance is unknown. According to some scientific studies, people are not sensitive to gluten directly, but have a reaction to certain carbohydrates. Some scientists claim that the symptoms are caused by irritation of the lining of the digestive tract by the protein.
If you have gluten intolerance, you may notice the following symptoms:

- Anxiety;
- Bloating or excessive gas;
