We shouldn't be afraid to admit it - yes, most of us want to be happy.
If you have a good life, but you can't find happiness, you are probably suffering from anxiety and confusion, because you can't find a reason for your discomfort. Often, people who have almost perfect lives are even tormented by a feeling of guilt about why they can't feel relief and joy from everything they have and that thousands of their acquaintances simply admire from afar.
Happiness is a temporary emotion that is triggered by various positive situations, for example, a salary increase, a love letter, a nice gift, and so on.
The reason may be the social circle where you spend a lot of time. You can't even imagine how powerfully the circle of acquaintances can influence your outlook on life, emotional mood, and enthusiasm. If you spend a lot of your day with negative people who only complain and spread negativity, of course, you will not be happy.
If you compare your life to the photos or videos that are circulating on social media, it will be difficult for you to recognize how happy you are. If someone only posts pictures of their travels or parties on social media, it does not mean that they have such joyful moments every day, and even if they do, why do you try to make their life look like yours?
Another very common mistake is that we demand too much of ourselves and sometimes set completely unrealistic goals. If small steps towards success do not bring you joy, you will not be happy even when you are at the top.
Sometimes the cause of a negative mood is psychological, and if negative emotions constantly prevent you from being happy, be sure to consult a specialist.
