Signs of a Healthy Relationship

In your opinion, what is needed for a healthy relationship?

Some people believe that a relationship is healthy when everything goes smoothly, while others believe that in order to establish harmony between partners, constant effort, commitment, and a predetermined outcome are necessary.

There is no golden rule for a healthy relationship, and as many people as there are, there are likely to be as many opinions on this topic. It is also a question of who considers what is considered the norm, the criteria for a healthy relationship. The only thing that is not subject to judgment and is not a controversial issue is that any type of relationship should bring you joy and make you feel safe.

A healthy relationship is characterized by:

• You respect each other;
• You trust each other;
• You do not have difficulty communicating as a couple;
• You enjoy being together;
• You support each other's goals;
• You make decisions, big or small, together;
• You feel cared for and supported;
• You should care less about other people's opinions, although it's nice if the people around you (whose opinions you care about and are important to you) are satisfied with your choices and relationships.
