The following symptoms are characteristic:
- Headache occurs after coughing or any other tension;
- Mostly, you are worried for a few seconds or minutes, sometimes it lasts for 2 hours;
- Headache is acute, sharp;
- You feel pain in both parts of your head;
- You may feel a dull ache for several hours.
In case of secondary cough headache, the pain lasts much longer and the following symptoms are also characteristic:
- Dizziness;
- Feeling of heart failure;
- It is difficult for you to keep your balance;
- Noise in the ears;
- Loss of hearing;
- Blurred vision;
- Trembling.
