Prevention methods.
Almost everyone has plaque on their teeth, albeit to varying degrees. Until a certain time, the plaque is soft and can be easily cleaned with a toothbrush or dental floss, however, when the norms of oral hygiene are violated, the plaque hardens and turns into a stone. Only a dentist can remove the stone.
One of the effective methods of plaque prevention is taking care of the health of teeth and gums.
Recommended:
- Clean the tooth with dental floss;
- Brush your teeth twice a day;
- After eating, if you cannot brush your teeth, chew sugar-free chewing gum;
- Limit foods and drinks containing sugar in the diet;
- Twice a year, evaluate the condition of the oral cavity at the dentist;
- Use mouthwash.
