Signs and symptoms of cholecystitis may include:

  •  Pain that spreads to your right shoulder or back
  •  Tenderness over your abdomen when it's touched
  •  Nausea
  •  Vomiting
  •  Fever

Cholecystitis signs and symptoms often occur after a meal, particularly a large or fatty one.
