What is the function of vitamin D in the body?

Vitamin D is also known as the sun's vitamin and is beneficial for both mental and physical health.

Vitamin from the sun strengthens the immune system, participates in calcium metabolism, has a positive effect on mood.

What are the symptoms of deficiency?
