Cardiometabolic disease includes serious pathologies such as: heart attack, stroke, diabetes, kidney disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
According to statistics, cardiovascular disease is the cause of death of 9 million people annually, and 537 million adults worldwide have a history of diabetes.
Contributing risk factors are:
• High blood pressure;
• High blood sugar levels;
• Excess triglycerides;
• Excess fat around the waist;
• Genetic predisposition;
• Tobacco;
