Sensitive Stomach.
“Sensitive stomach” is a non-medical term used to describe a stomach that is easily irritated or upset. Some people associate stomach sensitivity with specific foods, and sometimes the cause is unknown.
Rarely, almost everyone experiences some type of stomach problem/discomfort, but if you often experience stomach irritation, you likely have a sensitive stomach.
The following symptoms are characteristic:
- Excessive gas in the intestines;
- Bloating;
- Indigestion;
- Heartburn;
- Acid reflux;
- Nausea;
- Vomiting;
- Abdominal pain;
- Diarrhea;
- Constipation.
In case of these severe symptoms, see a doctor:
- Chronic or acute abdominal pain that prevents you from performing normal activities, daily activities;
- Blood in the stool;
- Severe diarrhea that lasts more than 2 days;
- Nocturnal diarrhea;
- Unexplained fever;
- Allergic reaction.
