Vaginal Pimple

Vaginal Pimple

Vaginal rash.

It is quite possible for a pimple to appear on the vulva and labia. In a large percentage of clinical cases, the causes are ingrown hair, skin diseases, hormonal changes during menstruation, and clogged pores.

This is a common symptom and can occur in any woman. The main thing is not to panic and remember that vaginal skin is very sensitive and a rash is completely normal.

The following symptoms are characteristic:

  • Red or brown pimple;
  • Small and raised papule;
  • In case of pus, a white color on the top of the pimple;
  • Pain when touched;
  • Itching.

The course of treatment is individual and depends on the cause. If the cause of the pimple is clogged pores or ingrown hair, the rash will clear up in a few weeks.

Recommendation

The main thing is not to mechanically squeeze the pimple and, as much as possible, avoid activities that irritate the vaginal area. Also, do not shave the hair in the lower area until the pimple disappears and do not wear underwear that is too tight against the skin. As soon as you notice that your underwear is sweaty, put on new ones, keep it dry.

Explain the symptom to the pharmacy and they will offer you an ointment that should be applied locally after washing.

If the pimple does not disappear within 2 weeks, you have pain or it increases in size, be sure to consult a gynecologist. In the event of a bacterial or viral infection, or an inflammatory process, vaginal rash will not disappear with a course of treatment at home - in such clinical cases, it is necessary to determine the cause and prescribe appropriate medication.
