Unfortunately, stress is an integral part of our lives and we can't always hide it or avoid it.
Sometimes it serves as a motivational factor, for example, helping us meet deadlines at work. However, a chronic stressful environment destroys health, leaving a negative mark on the body.
Doctors confirm that stress does not always cause disease (although it is a serious risk factor), but in a large percentage of clinical cases it exacerbates the pathology in the anamnesis, worsening the patient's general health.
This is a small list of problems that arise due to stress:
• Muscle and joint tension, pain, spasm;
• Heart disease;
• High blood pressure;
• Stroke;
• Asthma;
• Shortness of breath;
• Rapid heartbeat;
• Rash, itchy skin;
• Heavy sweating;
• Severe hair loss;
• Frequent diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, abdominal discomfort, excessive gas, constipation;
• Irritable bowel syndrome;
• Acid reflux;
• Tension headaches;
• Weakened immunity, resulting in frequent colds and flu, infectious diseases;
• Reproductive health problems, such as delayed menstruation or a complete cessation of menstruation;
• Insomnia;
