In chronic back pain, the patient experiences constant discomfort that comes and goes. The discomfort is described as dull ache, burning sensation, or sharp stabbing.

The fact is that in a large percentage of clinical cases, chronic pain, especially in the lumbar region, is caused by a disease/pathology. Of course, back pain is expected due to awkward movements or falls, but such cases are rarely the source of complaint.
