The influence of weather on mood, energy, desire to work

Does your character change depending on the weather?

Weather affects character, mood, energy, mental functioning. However, it is also worth noting the factor of what kind of weather a person likes - for one, rain is a cause of depressive mood, while another person happily walks with an umbrella, etc. It is also important what climatic region you live in, for example, for those living near the desert, even clouds are associated with coolness.

Scientists conducted an interesting experiment on this topic - 497 people participated in the study.

The result looks like this:

  • Summer lovers - their mood improves in warm and sunny weather;
  • Summer haters - their character deteriorates due to warm and sunny weather;
  • Rain haters - their character is negative during rain;
  • A category was identified that is less concerned about the weather and the ambient temperature does not leave a serious mark on their mood.

According to scientists, warm and sunny weather improves memory, the brain remembers new information much more easily.

Of course, the positive result is also reflected in physical health, because people walk much more in warm weather and enrich their bodies with sunlight vitamins. As a rule, cold weather pushes the body to inactivity - naturally, you prefer to curl up in front of the TV than walk on the street in the frost.

Many people believe that they feel a lack of energy in winter. The same is true in summer, when the air temperature is too high - naturally, it is difficult to exercise or walk in the heat, and the only thing your body needs at this time is to rest in the shade.

And yet, whether you love the wind, the sun or the rain, the reality is that you need to be able to adapt to all four seasons.
