What is paraneoplastic syndrome?

It is against the background of this damage that the symptoms characteristic of paraneoplastic syndrome appear.
Often, the symptoms of paraneoplastic syndrome are the first sign of cancer. Statistically, 8-20% of patients with cancer develop paraneoplastic syndrome.
