What you need to know about skull fractures?
A skull fracture is a fracture of the skull. The skull is the bony structure that encloses the brain.
Traumatic head injuries can occur in accidents, falls, sports injuries, or physical abuse, such as a fight.

If the injury has affected the brain, the following signs will appear:
- Nausea and vomiting;
- Confusion;
- Blurred vision;
- Slurred speech;
- Loss of sensation in any part of the body;
- Difficulty maintaining balance and coordination;
- Fatigue.
