What Causes an Itchy Throat?

An itchy throat is a common symptom of allergies and infections. This complaint is familiar to almost everyone - in a large percentage of clinical cases, home treatment is sufficient.

Many people find relief with nasal sprays, lemon and honey tea, cough drops, and throat rinses.

To prevent an itchy throat, it is recommended to:

  • Drink water;
  • Quit smoking;
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water;
  • During the acute allergy season, do not open windows and avoid being outdoors as much as possible.
