If your throat only hurts at night.
The cause could be something as simple as talking all day or a serious infection. If you have other symptoms, such as a fever or night sweats, your sore throat is likely due to an underlying condition.
The cause could be:

- Gastroesophageal reflux disease;
- Muscle strain;
