Feeling anxious for no reason

Feeling anxious for no reason

Unreasonable anxiety - when you can't connect anxiety with anything.

Anxiety in a specific situation, for example, a new assignment at work, a stressful situation in the family, problems in personal relationships, financial issues, etc., is completely normal and is considered an adequate reaction of the body.

However, what about those moments when anxiety attacks you and you can't connect it with anything? You know the scenario, for example, you suddenly woke up at night and are worried, but you can't find the reason for anxiety. In fact, nothing is without a reason, and just because you can't clearly see a specific irritant doesn't mean it doesn't exist; sometimes the cause of anxiety is perfectly able to hide.

In such cases, possible triggers include:

• Anxiety disorder;
• Genetic predisposition;
• Past trauma;
• Certain foods and drinks (often caffeine, alcohol);
• Side effects of certain medications;
• Worry about the future;
• History of certain diseases.
