The cause of dark spots on the skin is excess production of melanin. Melanin gives color to eyes, skin and hair.

Depending on the skin tone of the person, the sharpness of the spots is different, for example, they can be light or dark brown, grayish brown. Dark spots also vary in size.

It most often appears in the following areas of the body:

  • Back;
  • Arms.

The cause may be:

  • After wound healing, spots left due to burns or insect bites;
