What is the purpose of dermabrasion?

This procedure is chosen by people who want to have smooth skin. The procedure effectively corrects acne scars, scars caused by various types of trauma or surgery.

The non-invasive method of skin rejuvenation and care effectively cleans pores of excess fat and dead cells. After the procedure, new and healthy cells are much more noticeable, which is manifested by the effect of visually smooth skin.

Dermabrasion was originally developed as a method to reduce acne scars, but over time it has acquired other functions.

Indications for dermabrasion are:

Dermabrasion is an outpatient procedure, therefore, you do not need to stay overnight in the clinic. In very rare clinical cases, during intensive dermabrasion and for monitoring purposes, hospitalization is recommended.
