Photophobia is a common symptom of many diseases - this symptom is limited to mild irritation in some clinical cases, but sometimes it is so noticeable that the patient must be admitted to the emergency department of the clinic.

Increased sensitivity to light may develop due to diseases that affect the brain and eyes.
