The statistics of May 6 were published on the website of the World Health Organization.

Over the past 24 hours, 71 463 new cases of Coronavirus infection have been detected in the world and 4 102 people have died over the same period.

In the last 24 hours, 1 403 people have infected and 90 have died in Africa, 29 701 new cases were discovered and 1 480 have died in the US region, 7 854 new infected were detected in the Mediterranean Region, 175 have died, 27 179 new infections have been reported in the European region, 2 178 have died, 4 310 have been infected in Southeast Asia and 139 have died, 1 016 people have been infected in the Western Pacific, 40 have died.
