Pale skin

Pale skin

Skin color is determined by several factors.

For example, coloring depends on the amount of melanin in the skin, how thick it is, how much blood flows, and more. Pale skin is when the color is unusually lighter than normal.

Keep in mind, pale skin is not a condition, it is a disease.

Possible causes are:

  • You are not getting on the sun;
  • Coldness and freezing of the body;
  • Excessive sweating;
  • Shock;
  • Blockage of limb artery;
  • Sepsis;
  • Anemia;
  • Losing blood quickly;
  • Lack of nutrients in the body;
  • Genetics;
  • Chronic diseases;
  • Pregnancy;
  • Fear, strong emotion and others.

Call an emergency room if you notice the following symptoms along with pale skin:

  • Fever;
  • Feeling of heart failure;
  • Remove the blood;
  • Rectal bleeding;
  • Abdominal pain.

Be sure to consult a doctor if:
