First aid for minor injuries, treatment at home
Recommended:
- Put a cold compress on your nose for 10-20 minutes several times during the day (wrap the ice in a cloth and apply it to the affected area);
- Explain the reason at the pharmacy. In the pharmacy, you will be selected an anti-inflammatory pain reliever recommended for nasal trauma;
- In order to reduce pain and swelling, choose a sleeping position with your head elevated;
- In case of light bleeding, sit and lean forward, close both nostrils with your fingers for 5-15 minutes. Breathe calmly through your mouth during this entire process.
