Methods of diagnosis and treatment.
Provided for diagnosis:
- Physical examination of the patient;
- Urine analysis;
- Computed tomography;
- Ultrasound;
- X-ray.
Treatment methods
If the stone is small, it is quite possible to flush it out of the body by drinking large amounts of water (naturally).
One of the common methods of treatment is to break up the stone using modern endoscopes. With the laser, the stone is broken into small pieces and then expelled from the bladder.
In clinical cases, when bladder stones are large or mechanical disintegration is not possible, surgical intervention is recommended.
Prevention methods
Bladder stones are mainly formed against the background of hidden pathology (pathological process in the body), therefore it is difficult to take any specific preventive measures.
However, the risk will be reduced to a minimum if you take the recommended amount of liquid (preferably water) during the day, and if you notice unusual symptoms (related to the urinary system), consult a doctor in time.
