Abdominal pain is discomfort in the abdomen.
A large number of people perceive pain in the abdomen as discomfort in the stomach area, although it is quite expected that the unpleasant sensation originates from a completely different organ.
Abdominal pain may develop due to various reasons - some of the causative factors are serious and require timely diagnosis and therefore treatment.
Be sure to consult a doctor if you cannot relate this symptom to anything, the discomfort has taken on a chronic form or the abdominal pain is acute.
Pain can be of the following nature:

- Strong
- Sharp
- Be expressed by a burning sensation;

Abdominal pain is experienced by almost everyone - in a large percentage of clinical cases, the
complaint is not serious and the condition improves on its own or with home treatment measures. However, each case is individual and depending on the underlying cause, it is quite possible that abdominal pain may even require urgent medical intervention.
The most common causes of abdominal pain are:

Sometimes abdominal pain is a symptom of a more serious pathological process, for example, the underlying cause may be: hepatitis, gallstones, cholecystitis, kidney infection, pancreatitis, splenomegaly, gastritis and others.
