Restful sleep is essential for health.
Insomnia or other types of sleep-related problems have a negative impact on the whole body, harming almost every organ or system.
If you recognize these signs, your body is not lacking sleep, i.e. you are sleeping for the recommended time:
- You wake up before the alarm clock, you feel calm and good;
- You don't need caffeine to wake up or improve your mood;
- You are not worried about weight problems. You may be surprised, but it is a fact - one of the contributing risk factors for obesity is lack of sleep. Against the background of peaceful sleep, all hormones function properly;
- The skin is clean. There is some connection between lack of sleep and stress, as well as stress and acne;
- You have a good mood;
- You don't want to eat unhealthy products; you don't even remember sweet or carbonated drinks. Remember, hormones regulate hunger and cravings, but sleep controls food intake.
