10 diseases, the formation of which contributes to the use of tobacco

Smoking is harmful to health!

Tobacco use has a negative effect on the body. Smoke and the chemical substances contained in it leave a very bad mark on all organs and systems.

Here are some diseases caused by smoking:

  •  Lung cancer (as well as cancer of any other organ);
  •  Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
  •  Heart disease;
  •  Stroke;
  •  Asthma;
  •  Problems related to the reproductive system;
  •  Tobacco is dangerous not only for the pregnant woman, but also for the fetus. If the expectant mother smokes during pregnancy, there is a high risk that the baby will be born prematurely, have a weight less than recommended, and develop a number of health problems. Unfortunately, the little one may die;
  •  Diabetes;
  •  Blindness, cataract, age-related macular degeneration;
  •  The so-called Second primary cancer. This is a second, unrelated cancer in a person who has previously been diagnosed with another type of cancer. Second primary cancer may appear in the same tissue or organ where the disease was previously (that is, cancer was already formed in this organ) or it may develop in another area of the body. The risk of developing this type of cancer is high both in cancer patients who smoke, and in those who have overcome the disease (Survivors).
