Borjomi is a balneological and climatic resort, located in the Borjomi Gorge, on the banks of the rivers Mtkvari, Gujareti Water and Borjomula, 900 meters above sea level, east of the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Members of the Russian Imperial family, statesmen and cultural figures were often here: Maxim Gorky, Peter Tchaikovsky, Joseph Besarion Stalin, George Dimitrov and others. Borjomi is famous for its mineral water bottling factory, which is now Georgia's first export product.
