Zhinvali Reservoir - The first stop will be at Zhinvali dam, which is a complex destination in 70 km from Tbilisi, in the Dusheti municipality, north of Zhinvali. It is situated in the middle of Aragvi River In the part of Alevi, Gudamakari and Kartli, which makes a wonderful panorama.
The Ananuri Fortress – After the Zhinvali dam we will visit the fortress built in the XIII century, which is one of the rare historical monuments in Georgia. In the Ananuri Fortress there are civil, military and religious buildings, large and small temples, residential, mining towers, a small bell tower, water reservoir, bath. There are also a lot of stands where various Georgian souvenirs and presents made in Georgian style are sold.
“Peace monument” of Gudauri - After visiting the beautiful castle, the route leads to the monument built in 1983. This building is one of the interesting examples of Soviet modernism and is still in constant attention due to its forms, size and color mosaics.
Gergeti Triniti Church - There are no many architectural monuments in the world that have an incredible location like the Gergeti Trinity Church. Gergeti Trinity Church is located in Stepantsminda region on the river Chkhere, at 1800 m above sea level. The church and the bell tower are located on a high mountain top the way that from the Tergi Valley it is impressive to see the silhouettes of the temple that are clearly visible on the background of the glacier, that it is almost impossible to take the eyes off.
Dariali Monastery Complex - The Dariali Complex in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region, in the historical district of Kazbegi, is situated on the rocky mountain on the left bank of the river Tergi, 20 km north of Stepantsminda. Our final location will be the Archangel Monastery located at the Russian border. The construction of the Fathers Monastery began in 2005 and ended in 2011, from which you can see a beautiful view that will make a great impression on you.
