Neck Injury

Neck Injury

When should you call an ambulance?

The neck can be injured for something as minor as a muscle strain or as serious as a fall from a height. Keep in mind that it is quite possible to injure your head during a neck injury, so this area of the body should also be examined.

The following symptoms are characteristic of a neck injury:

  • Neck pain;
  • Stiffness;
  • Inability to move your neck;
  • Muscle spasm;
  • Headache;
  • Nausea and general weakness;
  • Dizziness;
  • Blurred vision.

A patient should be taken to the emergency department if they have a neck injury and have the following signs:

  • Unresponsive, unresponsive;
  • Severe neck pain or inability to move their head;
  • Fall from a height.

Call an ambulance if you have a neck injury and the following signs are present:

  • Severe neck pain;
  • A history of spinal problems;
  • Changes in urination and bowel movements;
  • Weakness or numbness in the limbs;
  • Stiffness, as if you have no strength in your hands and things fall;
  • You are not feeling well.

In the case of a mild neck injury, the condition will improve on its own, and no specific medical intervention is required.
