A seizure (convulsion) is an abnormal electrical activity in the brain.
A seizure causes a change in consciousness and the patient has difficulty controlling their muscles. Symptoms that affect behavior and feelings appear due to a seizure. No one is immune from a seizure, it can occur at any age.
The following symptoms are characteristic:
- Uncontrolled body movements;
- Staring at one point;
- Loss of consciousness;
- Teeth grinding;
- Drooling;
- Unusual eye movements;
- The person makes strange sounds;
- The person has difficulty holding in urine and feces (involuntarily passes urine into the stomach);
