What does a balance problem mean?

During a balance problem, you may complain of dizziness, feeling like the room is spinning. Due to impaired coordination, a person feels as if he should fall.

Discomfort occurs when standing, lying or sitting.

For normal balance, it is necessary for muscles, bones, joints, eyes, nerves, heart, blood vessels, middle ear to function properly. If any of these systems or organs are damaged, lose their functionality, balance problems appear.

In some clinical cases, it is formed against the background of side effects of medication.

The following signs are characteristic:

  • Dizziness;
  • Feeling of heart failure;
  • It is difficult for a person to maintain balance;
  • You may actually fall or have a feeling that you will fall;
  • Feeling as if you are swimming;
  • Confusion;
