Causes.

Frequent bowel movement is a condition in which you have to empty your bowels unusually often.

If you do not have other symptoms, it is likely that the reason for frequent stomach movements is a lifestyle change (for example, eating foods rich in fiber).

In the case of a symptomatic course, the underlying cause is some disease.

The reason for frequent action of the stomach (which is accompanied by other symptoms) may be:

  • Salmonella infection;
  • Acute enteritis;
  • Lambliosis;
  • Celiac disease;
  • Crohn's disease;
  • Irritable bowel syndrome;
  • Diarrhea caused by antibiotics;
  • Hyperthyroidism;
  • Ulcerative colitis.

Consult a doctor if the following symptoms are accompanied by frequent stomach activity:

  • Watery stool;
  • Abdominal pain;
  • Blood or mucus in the stool.
